Name: Casey
Character Name: Kaywhyjelly
Class: Druid
Race: Nightelf
Spec: Resto 14/0/57

Current Professions: I am a Alch. (Transmute Spec for the gems) and I also am a Scribe (shoulder enchants are just too nice, and hodir rep sucks to farm, or it used too).

Why I want to Join: I am looking for a nice relax guild that raids casually (3 days a week is fine) where I can see the new content that comes out without having to worry about being number one, even though it is nice and I can see that you guys are number one 99% of the time. Raiding has always been fun to me, I am good at it and I like seeing my name at the top of the healing chart. Some people believe that healing charts dont matter and that it doesn't take skill to be number one, but those people are always below me. Healing charts do matter. It might not show a holy pally up top, it might not show a disc priest up top, but that is because they have a job to do, and that is heal the tank. As a resto druid I feel it is my job to keep the raid alive while supporting the other healers trying to keep up the tank. I would like to do that here, show you that I can compete with the top players on the Dark Iron server.

Raid Times: Yes I can make all raid times, I live in Washington there for I am 2 hours behind server time. I work a graveyard shift, so it will not conflict with any raid times.

Raid Experience: I hit 80 4 days after WoTLK came out and have been raiding all the way up till TOC. I have cleared all of ToC 10 man and some of the 25 man. I decided to stop raiding when the guild that I was in broke up to form another guild. It was time that I stopped and got some of my life in order. I have now settled things and have the time to raid. I have done all the hard modes in Uldar and have looked into the hard mode fights for ToC. The guys that I used to raid with had me come in as a back-up whenever I was on. They wanted me to come back and raid but I decided that the direction that they were pushing in was a little to much for me. They would raid up to 12 hours a day when new content came out to be server first. This is not what I wanted to do. My gear is full Uldar 25 man gear but I have the experience to make that work till I can get upgrades. I was on the server Kel'Thuzad raiding with the guild that is now known as Obscure Reference. I made the switch over to Alliance not only because I wanted to see the other half of the game, but also because of real life friends that play on this server. I have played this game for 4 years, know the in and the outs of what it takes to be a good raider, am willing to put in the time that it takes to get my gear back up to where it needs to be in order to be one of the core raiders in your guild.

Pre-BC Raid Experience: I have cleared all the pre-bc raids before the patch came out and made it easy. I played a hunter as well as my druid in BC.

Previous Guilds: Since BC I was raiding with a guild Called Vinici Vini Vinco. They were one of the top 10 guilds on Kel'Thuzad, never stride to be number one but always wanted to be one of the top. They broke up because some of the core raiders wanted to number one and push it harder and longer. They split into two guilds, Bellum Aterunus and Obscure Reference. I raided with BA for a little till there raid time were conflicting with the job that I had at the time. I tried raiding with OR but like I said above they wanted to go and push to long and tried too hard for how far they have gotten. Both of these guild you can feel free to talk to, they wont have anything bad to say about me. I was the top heal in BA for the time that I was there, and in OR there was one guy that would out heal me, another Resto Druid. He is one of the best players that I know (Wedgefry).

Following directions is a big thing during raiding. If you can't follow directions on applying how can we know that you'll be able to follow healing/strategy assignments?

Questions you missed
Name, Age, Location, Sex.
WWS or WoL link.
Link to a screen shot of your UI while in a raid. (Battleground is fine)
Which addons do you find essential for raiding and why?
Do you have Vent and a working mic?
What are your current PC specs and who is your current ISP?
Do you currently know anyone in who would vouch for you?
What are your general interests outside of WoW?

Also, logging out in PvE gear/spec is generally helpful so people can actually check your gear. Despite the raiding schedule, Vigilant is not a casual guild by any means. They are striving for server/faction firsts in every dungeon and that means upon new dungeon release there will be extended raid periods until content is killed. This means extra days and extended hours.

Location: I'm on a boat!
Your gear level is severly behind that of even our feral that sometimes goes resto let alone our two core trees. You are not haste capped and in the upcoming patch that will hurt you even more than it already is. As for gemming once you activate your meta there is no reason whatsoever to gem anything other than SP right now. Thank you for applying but I am going to decline your application on the grounds of not having raid space for another tree and gear being an entire tier behind.
