Definiton of Vigilant: Middle English (Scots), from Latin vigilant-, vigilans, from present participle of vigilare to keep watch.
We are watchers, guardians, and keepers of the peace for Atreia.
Our legion consists of people who are strong as individuals, but as a singular unit, are unstoppable.
We strive for teamwork in every aspect of the tasks we are given, and our will is derived from being the best.
We are all a team, a unit, and a family; one and inseperable. We work together to get where we need to be, and no one is left behind. Our legion motto, which we follow to the letter, is ,"Semper Vigil." Ever vigilant, ever watching. Ever ready.
History:
We are a close-knit group of friends whom have been gaming since well, our hands were big enough to hold a controller. We have experience all the way back to the dreamcast. MMO wise we all play WoW, and are all in the top 20 of our server for our classes, something not easily obtained. We love the essence of MMOs, yet WoW hasnt hit the right spot. As such, we are ready to move on to something more, and the world Atreia seems to fit just right. We are moving on to this world, and we are more than ready to take it by storm.
Guidelines:
As with any group, unit, etc, we have rules and guidelines. These are for ours and your own good, to make the gaming experience more enjoyable.
1. We like to have fun as any sensible human being, yet there's a line of work and play we keep. When it comes time to get down to buisness, we ask that every person put on their game faces and do their hardest. This means you put out your very best effort, and do not falter when times are tough.
2. Mistakes are apart of every persons life, and we absolutley understand this. However we ask that you own up to them, realize how to fix them, and move on. Do not hinder on the mistake, and blame others for it. It is no one elses fault but your own, and everyone else will own up as well. We are a team, remember that.
3. We know disagreements will occur, but we dot not tolerate flat out fighting and immaturity. This includes cursing at others, low blows, racial remarks, personal attacks, and slurs. We are mature, and anyone who is apart of The Vigilant will be as well. If this time does arise, we ask that you settle it like adults, and we as leaders are not afraid to step in if necessary for the betterment of the family as a whole.
The Challenge:
Our challenge for you as simple, if you think you're up to be apart of The Vigilant, Take all of this to heart, and have a sense to strive for the best. We will not accept defeat, and we will crush the Asmodians and the Baluar.
